1953 - Panchayat formation
Athirampuzha Grama Panchayat was formed in January 1953. Initially, the Panchayat office was functioning in the building belonging to Athirampuzha Church.
1959 - New office inaugurated
The current Panchayat office building was constructed in 1959. The land was donated by the then President Haji T.M. Hassan Rawatar.
1976 - Special Grade Panchayat
The panchayat was upgraded to special grade in 1976 based on its excellence in rural development activities.
