Brief report on various services and administrative activities of the Gram Panchayat

Birth, Death, Marriage Registration

In the birth and death registrations, the Panchayat has registered 862 births, 1 stillbirth and 262 deaths in the last financial year. In the marriage registrations, 201 public marriage registrations (2025 only) have been registered and marriage certificates have been issued

License

Out of the 889 applications available, including licenses granted and renewals to commercial establishments, industrial establishments, and other establishments requiring licenses, 818 licenses have been granted.

Professional Tax

Regarding tax collection, Rs. 10708704 has been collected from employees under employment tax. Rs. 708300 has been collected from institutions.

Project Expenditure

Out of the total available project funds, Rs. 36377434 out of the total plan fund of Rs. 59776709 (60.86 percent) and Rs. 16995447 out of the maintenance grant of Rs. 36120500 (47.05 percent) were spent, while the total allocated amount of Rs. 238231600 including own funds and other available funds was Rs. 101874741 (42.76 percent)

Property tax

In the property tax category, a total of Rs. 24272317 i.e. 89.59% tax collection was achieved, including Rs. 3002997 in arrears, which was a bad debt of Rs. 27091223, and Rs. 21005234 as collection for the year.

Permits

Approval has been given for 186 self-certified permits and 71 general permits available through K Smart for permits for buildings such as houses and establishments.

Waste management

Gram Panchaat strengthened enforcement measures on waste management and seized banned plastic. Action has also been taken against the individuals and institutions who have violated the waste management rules. 135722 was collected as fine. 75500 was collected from those who dumped garbage in different areas of the panchayat. Establishments found with stale food items have been issued notices, sealed and fined. 2000/- has been made available to the panchayat under this item

Ambulance service

The panchayat is proud to have its own 24-hour ambulance service, which has been providing assistance to vulnerable groups for the past 3 years.

Right to Information applications received, responses given, public complaints, and status of resolved complaints.

Haritha Karma Sena

The panchayat remains plastic-free today with the regular door-to-door collection of waste by the panchayat's green workers every month. The panchayat is strengthening the service sector as a source of income for the 47 green workers who take the lead in waste management by charging a user fee of Rs. 50 per month for households and Rs. 100 for institutions.

When comparing income and expenditure figures, bank accounts, annual financial statements, audit reports, and financial status, the panchayat is on the path of sustainable growth.

Administrative management

The Panchayat is providing a satisfactory service in terms of committees, employees, office work, e-governance, service delivery efficiency and public services. The Panchayat is leading the service excellence and working with the employees and public representatives who are rendering sincere service in collaboration with them. The overall development and success of the Panchayat is based on this collaboration and this collective work. The overall development of the Panchayat, agriculture and the welfare of all sections of the public are the main areas of emphasis of the Panchayat.
