Bunthi flower cultivation has begun under the leadership of Kudumbashree at Athirampuzha Grama Panchayat.
The inauguration of the 'Onakani Nirapolima' Bunthi flower plantation was held under the leadership of Kudumbashree of Athirampuzha Grama Panchayat. The activities of planting bunthi flower and vegetable seedlings by the women JLG groups led by wards 2 and 7 of the panchayat were inaugurated by the President of the Bahu Panchayat, Mrs. O.A. Saji
The project is being implemented with the objective of "Prosperity through Agriculture, Women's Agricultural Development".

At the inauguration ceremony held in the 7th ward, ward member Mathew Theknikumparambil, agriculture officer Dr. Ashwini M.S, pest scout Cinemal Begum, members Soumya Vasudevan, CDS chairperson Latha Rajan, and Agri CRP Shiny Reji spoke.
Ward member Johnny Thottapally, members Priya Bastin, Irish Mole, B.C. Joemesh, Sayoojyam JLG members, ADS member Mary M.J., and other Kudumbashree and JLG group members were present at the ceremony held in the second ward.
This project aims to ensure women's agricultural participation and economic security, along with providing local flowers and vegetables during the Onam season.
