A meeting of the organizing committee for the 'Keralolsavam' (Kerala Festival) under the Athirampuzha Grama Panchayat was held at the Panchayat office on 22/10/2026, presided over by Faseena Sudheer, Chairperson of the Health and Education Standing Committee.

The meeting was inaugurated by the honorable Grama Panchayat President, Smt. Saji O. A. Attendees included Standing Committee Chairpersons, other elected representatives, representatives from various clubs, individuals active in the fields of arts and sports, and teachers.

To ensure the successful organization of 'Keralolsavam 2026' and to guarantee the participation of the youth, the meeting reached the following decisions.

Decisions of the Meeting

1. It was decided to carry out extensive publicity, including printing notices, placing newspaper advertisements, and organizing a promotional procession (featuring flex banners, *chenda melam* [traditional percussion], and drums).

2. It was decided to send formal notifications to schools and colleges, inviting the participation of students and youth (aged 15 to 40) who are residents of Athirampuzha Grama Panchayat.

3. It was decided to offer cash prizes to encourage the participating clubs and the youth.

4. It was decided to seek sponsors to provide jerseys for the teams that qualify for the block-level competition.

5. It was decided to send a formal request for the use of the Athirampuzha Church grounds.

6. It was decided to provide refreshments.

7. It was decided to hold the football matches on a Sunday, and to conduct the arts and sports competitions on the same day.

8. It was decided to hand over an advance amount of ₹75,000 to the organizing committee.

9. It was decided to present awards for categories such as 'Best Player,' 'Kalathilakam' (top female performer in arts), 'Kalaprathibha' (top male performer in arts), and 'Individual Talent.'

The meeting concluded around 5:00 PM.
