350 fish fingerlings of various species were released into the Manakkakkulam pond in Athirampuzha. Panchayat President Smt. Saji O.A. received the fish—provided by the Fisheries Department to boost fish production—from Ward Member Smt. Babinas Ajas. The inauguration was marked by the release of the fish into the panchayat-owned Manakkakkulam pond. Kottayam-Pallam Fisheries Officer Smt. Aishwarya and Panchayat Secretary Smt. Nissi John C.Y. offered their felicitations. The event was witnessed by Development Standing Committee Chairperson Smt. Tiji Saji; Panchayat representatives Smt. Shanty Mathew, Smt. Sowmya Vasudevan, and Smt. Irishmol Jose; as well as Fisheries Department officials, panchayat staff, an Anganwadi teacher, and members of the public.
